I felt like practising animation lately, so I thought about something....Creepyyyy!!!

Because I like dark stories and I am trying to use my exercises to mature some of my ideas :)

So here is a storyboard of what might be called a "teaser" of my little Tara's story.

P.S: the pink eye panel is an obvious reference to the one in Wonderful Days, I will probably change the colours if i actually animate this but I couldn't help putting a little tribute to an anime that I really like :p let's call it referencing...

Hellaaa people! I haven't posted anything in a while. But here is a commission I did for an old friend, it's meant to be printed and it fills me with joy to think that one of my piece is becoming a solid print! :p 

And I hope it'll happen again... You know how to contact me... :3

I have been researching/practising on the panther character. I'm not too good at drawing animals but I'm getting there I think...

Here is a quick one I did yesterday. I got inspired by the sky I could see from my apartment. I'm thinking about working on how to paint clouds.  
P.S: Since the painting is quite wide you can't really see anything, but if you click on it you might get it at a decent size...

Canyon sequel...

Hey!! Sooo I was gonna wait until I had enough visuals to put everything together as a "storyboard" kinda thing...But since I'm moving everywhere I can't keep up with a timetable and It could go on for a while till I decide that i have enough paintings. So am putting the ones I've done since last time!!

P.S: I did the last one today and as i took my wacom pen in my gentle and sweet hand this morning.....It broke in pieces...Like, seriously i painted with a wacom pen taped together, the only thing working is the lead (rubber ans side buttons are K.O) And this is where the tablet's button settings become handy!

Little Cameo of the Frogs that you can't really see and that i found cute in the end so I thought it was a shame... :3

Getting the mojo back

Hi Guys, just a heads up that i'm not not doing anything !!! I am at this point of my life where I have to send 20 cover letters a day for jobs.... which is why my previous paintings were a bit like "eeeeeehhhh where the hell did my mojo go???!!!". But I have been working on carrying on the sequence from the Canyon Fall (he's gonna go through the forest, caves and stuff...) while learning a new painting technique. So yeah, just a little sneak peek of one of the panels! :3

This one is really really bad. The light is flat, the colors are too bold... I had to post it for the sake of saying that I "finished one today" But I am not happy. Truth is, I am really not skilled for "in-town" illustrations... I'll try to practise on it when my mojo comes back.

But then I went "What the hell!". So sorry this one came out late :3

Since my compositions are very basic so far, I though this time it could be interesting if I'd post a little breakdown of how I structured my frames.

And when it comes to you...

I'm not too happy about that one. I lost myself in useless details, but it's done. I am thinking of making my paintings an actual sequence. This guy is going to be the link between my paintings.

Life Drawing again!

I kept going with China-graph for short poses, here are some 1min...

Then i started adding tones anb got this lady in colour. I also added some ink+ calligraphic feather that i did a couple of weeks ago...

Came back to china-graph for a bit last week.

Back on the Tara story.

I've come back to an old story idea i had a while ago. More to come as soon as i figure out how to draw panthers again...xx

I kind wish i grew patience and love for flourishes as i became older.... It would probably give me the courage to fix the million things that are wrong in there, but am gonna leave it like this for now.
PS: drawing and colouring on flash is a pain in the A.S.S.

God i missed Life drawing and charcoal all over my face and fingers! Give me a couple more Tuesday sessions and i'll be back on track. Here are a couple of 2 minutes and 5 minutes drawings.
